Taxes
Property Tax notices can be expected in the mail during the month of May.
For the convenience of taxpayers, we accept payments via electronic means, in cash, by mail or over the phone. Citizens who need to pay their Property Taxes by Interac, please stop by the District Office or contact the District office by telephone (250) 789-3392 to speak with a member of our Financial Services Team who can assist you in finding the easiest way to complete the payment.
Home Owner Grant Applications
Home Owner Grants are available to claim online through the Provincial Government on their website or by phone at 1-888-355-2700. Click here to be directed to the Home Owner Grant Page.
Application Deadline
Eligible home owners must complete a grant application each year. To avoid penalties on the grant amount, submit an online grant application to the Provincial Government or contact the District of Taylor for assistance before the defined deadline.
Retroactive Home Owner Grant Application
If you did not claim an eligible Home Owner Grant for the prior year, you may submit an application to the Provincial Government for a Retroactive Home Owner Grant. Please click here to be directed to the Retroactive Home Owner Grant Page.

Utilities
Residential Utility notices for water, sewer and garbage services can be expected in the mail during the month of March.
Residents are reminded that a 10% discount, or a 25% discount for seniors, can be received on the residential water and sewer utility bill charges if payment is collected by April 30.
Utility bill payments received between May 1 and December 31 of the year of service will not incur interest charges. Any outstanding charges after December 31 will be reallocated to the property’s residential property taxes and will start to incur daily interest charges at the prescribed rate set by the Provincial Government.
Additional Information and Resources
The District of Taylor accepts online bill payments through the following financial institutions: North Peace Savings and Credit Union, Scotiabank, BMO Bank of Montreal, and TD Canada Trust. Please allow a minimum of four days for processing online bill payments.
